I was invited back to design the regatta programmes but this year, I kept it to a static design with a more traditional illustration. Staines Boat Club is part of the 7 Remenham Clubs on the River Thames. Staines Rowing All-In-One (the outfit rowers wear for racing) represents Remenham by displaying 7 stripes. I wanted to represent these on the programmes with 7 stripes across the front of the programme with a female Staines rower on the front.
I am unofficial Staines Boat Club photographer for the regatta and this means I can collect enough content of the day for the next year's programme, whether I am doing it or not. Here's a couple of images from 2022's regatta day.
